Animus Non Omnibus Idem

Here is today's emblem and distich by Joachim Camerarius, 4:21. This emblem is based on a fishing technique that Camerarius describes in the essay accompanying the emblem: you would take the fishing basket and shut up some mackerels inside it. The mackerels would struggle to get out, while their motion would attract foolish other fish who would swim into the basket and be hauled in, together with the mackerels.

Animus Non Omnibus Idem
Isti intrare volunt, ast hi perrumpere nassam,
Multi et cum scombris desipiunt pariter.
