Non Te Sed Nummos

Here is today's emblem and distich by Gabriel Rollenhagen, Book 1.71, with an English rendering by George Wither.

Non Te Sed Nummos
Non te, sed nummos, turpissima bestia sponsus,
Crede mihi, qui te tum bene tractat, amat.

Thy seeming-Lover, false will bee
And, love thy Money, more than Thee.
