Esse bonum dico...

Here is today's Rhyming Distich, and here are some more posts with Rhyming Distichs. This one comes from the Florilegium Gottingense edited by Voigt.

Esse bonum dico, quod donas laetus animo;
Quod tristis donum, hoc nequit esse bonum.
