Frustra Remorantius Austris

Here is today's emblem and distich by Joachim Camerarius, 2:28. As the emblem shows, the strong-willed horse is able to ascend the mountain, even going against the winds of adversity. The winds blow, but they blow in vain when the force of excellence pushes ahead!

Non remoratur equum vis venti assurgere in auras,
Virtutis nec sors aspera tardat iter.
