Caelo Ut Se Permittant

Here is today's emblem and distich by Joachim Camerarius, 3:11. The eagle supposedly makes its nest in the tallest trees or in the lofty crags of mountains in order to provoke its chicks to learn how to soar, with the children learning the path of excellence from their parents.

Caelo Ut Se Permittant
Vos virtutis iter gnatis monstrate parentes,
Ipsa aquila ut pullos fida volare docet.
