Quid faciet nullos...

Here is today's distich by Martial, 14.25. The Romans made combs out of boxwood in addition to other materials. Here Martial is mocking the poor comb that will not be able to find (great use of future active participle!) any hairs on the owner's head!

Quid faciet nullos hic inventura capillos
Multifido buxus quae tibi dente datur?

Here is the vocabulary:

quid - what
facio - do, make
nullus - not any, none
hic - here
invenio - find
capillus - hair
multifido - many-divided, many-parted
buxus - boxwood
qui - who, which, that
tu - you
dens - tooth
do - give
