Florebo, Prospiciente Deo

Here is today's emblem and distich by Gabriel Rollenhagen, Book 2:6, with an English rendering by George Wither.

Florebo, Prospiciente Deo
Solis ad adspectum, veluti rosa verna virescit
Sic ego florebo, prospiciente Deo.


When prosperous our Affaires doe growe
God's Grace it is, that makes themso.
