Fragrat Adustum

Here is today's emblem and distich by Joachim Camerarius, 1:30. Both frankincense and myrrh come from trees, as Camerarius has shown here.

Thura inodora manent, nisi sole vel igne calescant:
Sic bene quo fragret, cor prece adure pia.
