Nubere vis...

Here is today's distich by Martial, 9.5:

Nubere vis Prisco: non miror, Paula: sapisti;
Ducere te non vult Priscus: et ille sapit.

Paulla, thou wouldst to Priscus wedded be;
Thou'rt wise; and hee's wise too; hee won't wedd thee.
- Anon. 16th century

The vocabulary is keyed to the DCC Latin Vocabulary list. There are three words which are not on the DCC list:

nūbo -ere, nūpsī, nuptum - marry
Paula - proper name
Priscus - proper name

dūco dūcere dūxī ductum: lead; uxōrem ducere, marry
et: and
ille, illa, illud: that
mīror mīrārī mīrātus sum: wonder at, marvel at (+ acc.)
nōn: not
sapio sapere sapīvī: be wise
tū tuī tibi tē: you (sing.)
volo velle voluī: wish, be willing
