Paupertas Bona

Here is today's distich by Michele Verinus:

Paupertas Bona
Sobria paupertas multorum causa bonorum est;
Hanc tamen ut pestem plurima turba fugit.

The vocabulary is keyed to the DCC Latin Vocabulary list. There are only three words in this poem that are not on the DCC list:

pestis, pestis f. - plague, pestilence
sōbrius -a -um - not drunk, sober, moderate

bonus -a -um: good
causa -ae f.: cause, reason
fugiō fugere fūgī fugitum: flee, escape
hic haec hoc: this; hōc: on this account
multus -a -um: much, many; multō, by far
plurimus -a -um: the greatest number of, very many; plurimī, most people
sum, esse, fuī: be, exist
tamen: nevertheless, still
turba -ae f.: crowd, uproar
ut, uti: as (+ indic.); so that, with the result that (+ subj.)
