De Caritate

Here is a distich by Michele Verinus:

De Caritate
Est caritas perfectus amor perfectaque virtus,
Qua sine perfectum nil reperire potes.

The vocabulary is keyed to the DCC Latin Vocabulary list. There are two words in this poem that are not on the DCC list:

cāritas (cāritātis, f.): love, charity
perfectus, -a, -um: accomplished, finished

amor -ōris m.: love
nihil, nīl: nothing; not at all
possum posse potuī: be able
que (enclitic) - and
qui quae quod: who, which, what / quis quid: who? what? which?
reperiō -perīre -perī -pertum: find, find out
sine: without (+ abl.)
sum, esse, fuī: be, exist
virtūs -ūtis f.: valor, manliness, virtue
