Maior Post Otia Virtus

Here is today's emblem and distich by Joachim Camerarius, 2:20. What a delightful comparison: the next time I want to just lie in bed all day, I will pretend I am a bear hibernating, the very emblem of a skilled person who is planning some new magnum opus!

Maior Post Otia Virtus
Ceu lustris latitant ursi et sua membra relinquunt:
Sic meditatur opus doctus in arte novum.
