Astu Non Vi

Here is today's emblem and distich by Joachim Camerarius, 4:25. The enmity between the frog and the pike is legendary; supposedly a frog would wait in ambush for a pike and then leap onto its head, riding the fish to exhaustion. When the pike then sank to its death, the frog would swim up back to the surface, victorious.
