Tribulatio Ditat

Here is today's emblem and distich by Gabriel Rollenhagen, Book 1:96, with an English rendering by George Wither. In the emblem, you can see the hand of God wielding the farmer's instruments, and we are the crops.

Tribulatio Ditat
Tribulat atque quatit segetes, ditescere sperans,
Rusticus, et nobis crux bene nostra facit.

Affliction, doth to many adde
More value, then, before, they had.

Here is the vocabulary:

tribulatio - trouble, tribulation
dito - enrich, make rich
tribulo - press, trouble
atque - and
quato - shake
seges - grain field, crop
ditesco - grow rich
spero - hope
rusticus - farmer
et - and
nos - we, us
crux - cross
bene - well
noster - our, ours
facio - do
