Here is today's Rhyming Distich, and here are some more posts with Rhyming Distichs. I found this poem in the collection Philosophia Patrum edited by Julius Wegeler.
Vincere si quaeris Venerem, fugiens superabis;
Instans victus eris; Venerem fugiendo fugabis.
The vocabulary is keyed to the DCC Latin Vocabulary list. There are two words which are not on the DCC list:
insto, instāre, institī, instātum - press hard, pursue, approach
Venus, Veneris f. - Venus, goddess of love, love
fugio fugere fūgī fugitum: flee, escape
fugo -āre: put to flight
quaero -ere -sīvī -situm: seek, inquire
sī: if
sum, esse, fuī: be, exist
supero -āre: overcome, surpass, defeat
vinco vincere vīcī victum: conquer
