Uni Pareo

This poem comes from the Emblemata amatoria (1611) of Pieter Cornelisz Hooft (1581-1626). You can find the book online at the Emblem Project Utrecht.

Uni Pareo
Una uni serulae clavis respondet; et uni
Arcano similis convenit una mihi.
