De Irae Causis

This is an item from Anton Moker's Decalogus metricus et paraenetica disticha, published in 1573. You can see the book at GoogleBooks.

De Irae Causis
Non bonus ob causas pueriles concipit iram;
Ob causas iram concipit ille graves.

The vocabulary is keyed to the DCC Latin Vocabulary list. There are two words in this poem that are not on the DCC list:

puerīlis, -e (
puerīlis): boyish, childish

bonus -a -um: good
dē: down from, about, concerning (+ abl.)
gravis -e: heavy
ille illa illud: that
īra irae f.: wrath, anger
nōn: not
ob: against, on account of (+acc)
